Geology of the national parks chapter 1 project
Now the fun begins. You were supposed to find 2 pictures for today of national parks and these pictures are supposed to be appealing to you. My hope is that you want to go see these parks. Your job for this project is to pitch a trip to the national parks you chose to the 2 people you identified in the survey. You have 2 pictures and 2 people. Pitch 1 park to 1 person and the other park to the other person.
Here is what you need to figure out:
1. What is there to do at this national park?
2. What are the benefits of spending some time in nature/outdoors?
3. Overall, why should that person want to go to this national park?
4. Here's the tricky part - you need to pitch this trip specifically to the people you described. If they are afraid of flying, how are you going to get around that? If they need a glamorous hotel, how are you going to address that?
The final product:
I don't care what the format is, but you're pitching 2 parks. Each park gets 1 sheet of paper. It can be a document, brochure, small poster, etc... Make it appealing. If it's not appealing, they probably won't want to go.
Chapter 1 Project Scoring Guidelines: (25 points for each park, 50 pts total)
